*one and half mths passed, n Ozzie's pregnancy has reached roughly in its 3rd mth. Although no one noticed much yet, the atmosphere ard Frank has started to look grim, proving Hecro's suspicions of Frank shutting dwn*

Thrax; 8was out searching with Drix8

Drix: *was carrying a list of Frank's organs and abt a quarter of them were crossed out as bad* This is not looking good

Thrax; 8to himself8 Thought as much.

Drix: Frank is shutting dwn evn more, we fear his time might be sooner than Hecro had predicted

Thrax; 8nodded8

Drix: *his cell phone rang* Hello? Hey, sweetheart, what's up? Uh-huh. Oh...OK...Yeah, we'll be right there

Thrax; What/

Drix: Emergency meeting with the city council. I have to be there. Why don't u go home first n chk on Hecro and the kids? Ozzie might be home frm his desk job right abt now

Thrax; 8nodded8 C'ya soon man.

Drix: Later *got in the car n drove off*

Thrax; 8headed home8

Hecro: *is at Ozzie's home, babysitting the trio n feeding Shane*

Thrax; Hey Hecro.

Hecro: Hey, Thrax. Jared'll late. He's got extra curricular activities. Oz will be home soon

Thrax; 8nodded but bit his lip8

Hecro: Something wrong?

Thrax; It's happening faster than expected.

Hecro: Oh. And Leah and Drix not doing anything abt it?

Thrax; They're trying.

Hecro: Well, I've got all my stuff packed just in case we need to go at the last minute. Have you?

Thrax; 8nodded8

Hecro: Good. *silent for a while before continuing* Oz is in his 3rd mth now, isn't he?

Thrax; Yes/

Hecro: *looks away* Just asking

Thrax; Hecro.

Hecro: I just...thought abt...what I did...to this... *puts his hand on his now empty belly*

Thrax; 8frowns8

Hecro: I...did have second thoughts, you knw. I had wanted u to make the pain stop...For that last split moment, I wanted to keep the baby after all

Thrax; 8sighs8

Hecro: *buries his face in his hands*

Thrax; 8wraps his arms round him8

Hecro: *choked voice* Have I made a mistake? Have I made the wrong choice? Have I done the right thing?

Thrax; Those are questions only you can answer.

Shane: *whines, sad to see her mother cry*

Hecro: *wipes his tears* Sorry, baby girl. Momma's just upset abt something. I'm OK now

Thrax; 8picks up the trio7

Ozzie: Hey, everyone, I'm home!

Thrax; In here ozzy.

Ozzie: *enters* Hey guys. Where's Jared?

Thrax; 8looked at the time8

Hecro: He said he's at extra curricular. He should be bk abt now

Thrax; 8prayed he was ok8

*the house phone rang*

Thrax; 8hands the trio to ozzy then answers the phone8 Hello/

Tonto (who has finally been deemed healthy n released bk to the PD force) : Yo, Thrax! Your kids in the hospital! We just barely rescued him frm the nasal dam!

Thrax; WHAT/ Which hospital/

Tonto: The general one. Come quick!

Thrax; 8slammed down the phone and grabbed his coat8

Ozzie: *hears the commotion* Wh...What's wrong, baby?

Hecro: *still using a wheelchair, wheels ovr to find out*

Thrax; Jared's in hospital.

Ozzie: What?! What happened??

Thrax; That's what I'm gonna find out. 8he ran out the door8

*Ozzie and Hecro watched worriedly*

Thrax; 8ran straight for the hospital8

Tonto: *was at the waiting room with some of the PD colleagues*

Thrax; 8runs up to them8

Tonto: Hey, Thrax. He and some of the other kids are still in the emergency room. We dunno what's going on yet

Thrax; What happened/

Damien: Jared n his classmates were having extra curricular, a sort of school trip to visit the nasal dam. Suddenly, Frank had a nosebleed and the dam broke.

Ricardo: A few kids including Jared fell while the nasal team tried to stop the bleeding. Some drowned n fell out of the nose. Jared was lucky to be saved, along with abt 3 other kids

Thrax; 8bit his lip hard it drew blood8

Tonto: Easy now. I'm sure Jared'll pull through

Thrax; How is he/

Damien: Not sure yet. The doctors are not done with them

Thrax; 8groaned8

*a hour later, the doctor came out*

Thrax; 8shot up8

Doctor: Who here is the parent of Jared Leucocyte Jones-Roja?

Thrax; That would be me.

Doctor: Yes, your son is fine. He had a mild head concussion due to falling off frm the nasal dam, bt luckily the bloodstream broke most of his fall, so he only suffered mostly minor injuries. He's at the out-patient ward now being tended to *turns to the crowd n continues to ask who is the parent of the other children*

Tonto: Oh thank Frank

Thrax; 8collapsed yo his knees8

Damien: *heaved a sigh of relief*

Ricardo: * helps Thrax on his feet* C'mon. We better go see Jared now. He'd probably be needing u now

Thrax; 8nodded8

Jared: *at the out-patient ward, being bandaged ovr his head n his minor injuries*

Thrax; 8headed to the room8

Jared: *sees Thrax while the out-patient nurses in duty finish bandaging his wounds* Daddy!

Thrax; 8ran over him8

Jared: *reaches his hands outstretched to hug him* Daddy~! Daddy, I was so scared~!

Thrax; 8holds him close8

Nurse: He's alright now. You can take him home

Thrax; 8lifted his son up8

Jared: *cries in his arms* I was so scared~! I thought I was going to die~!

Thrax; Shh, it's okay now.

Jared: *sobs as he huddled close to him*

Thrax; 8signed him out then carried him home8

Hecro: *looks out n sees Thrax in the driveway* They're home

Ozzie: *quickly rushes to the front door*

Thrax; Had Jared in his arms.

Ozzie: Jared? *sees the bandages* Oh thank Frank you're alive!

Jared: *sees Ozzie n holds out to him* Mommy~!

Ozzie: *takes him in his arms n hugs him* Shh, shh, shh, Mommy's here

Thrax; 8looked on fearfully8

Hecro: What happened?

Thrax; The nassle dam burst while his class was on a field trip.

Ozzie: Oh my. Are all the other kids alright?

Thrax; Some 8sighs8 didn't make it.

Hecro: Oh dear...

Ozzie: How did the nasal dam burst?

Thrax; Frank suffered a nosebleed.

Hecro: Frank is reli going under

Thrax; 8nodded8

*a text msg came in Thrax's cell phone*

Thrax; 8looked at it8

Msg frm Drix: Will you guys be home? Got something to discuss. I'll be ordering take out to your plc.

Thrax; 8text back8 Yeah.

Msg reply: Good. I'll be there round 7-ish. Oh heard abt the incident. Is Jared OK?

Thrax; 8texted8 Yeah a few sratches and rather shaken up.

Msg reply: Good. Leah was worried. Cya tonight

Ozzie: Who was that? *carries Jared to his room to rest*

Thrax; Drix

Hecro: What does he want?

Thrax; He needs to speak with us.

Ozzie: He'd better! I want some explanations on that nasal dam thing! Jared could've died out there!

Thrax; 8nodded8

Hecro: Easy, bro. All in good time. Let's just get the table prepared for Drix. Do we need to make dinner?

Thrax; He's ordered take out.

Hecro: Alright

Thrax; 8went to set the table8

*soon at ard 7-ish, Drix came ovr with Japanese take out*

Drix: *rings the doorbell*

Thrax; 8answers8 Hey Drix.

Drix: I got Japanese *puts the take out on the table*

Ozzie: Nice. It's been a while since I ate Japanese

Hecro: *wheels ovr to the table*

Thrax; 8helps sort the food8

Drix: Still on a wheelchair, I see

Hecro: *chuckles* Well, I'm healing. More or less gonna lose the chair soon

Thrax; You're recovering well.

Ozzie: Jones are tough cells. We recover like crazy in no time, aye, bro?

Hecro: You said it *high five-s Ozzie*

Thrax; 8rolled his eyes8

Drix: Well, let's eat.

8everyone sat down at the table8

*as everyone tucked in, Drix started*

Drix: I'm here to talk abt the city council meeting we had just now

Thrax; 8raised a brow8

Drix: Leah held the meeting to tell the city council abt Frank's situation. They didn't take it too well, bt she assured them that Thrax n I are helping to look for organs to evacuate the citizens in. The cause of the nosebleed was a blood vessel that ruptured after the minor stroke Frank had. After the nosebleed, Frank fainted again n is now in hospital for observation. Frank is shutting down at an alarming rate. The doctors have yet to figure out the cause, bt after we monitored the body, apparently wat Hecro had predicted has escalated. We might not have 4 mths.

Thrax; How much time/

Drix: Judging by the damage, a little less than 2 mths

Ozzie: *almost choked in his dinner in shock of the news*

Thrax; 8dropped his cutlery8

Hecro: *widen his eyes in shock. He hadn't expected that*

Thrax; Has there been any luck on the evactuation/

Drix: Not yet. The citizens have no idea abt it yet. But we did find some good organ parts of his that we can put the citizens in, although we dunno how much we can save. We're still looking for other organs, and maybe tomorrow morning, Leah will make a public announcement abt Frank

Thrax; The sooner the better.

Drix: So far we find that his stomach is more or less in good condition, n some parts of his liver is all good

Thrax; After all the beer he dranl?

Drix: Surprisingly despite the beer, some part of the liver survived. Lucky for the human condition, transplanting liver is alright. Livers can grow bk n assimilate, thanks to the wonders of cell evolution

Ozzie: And the cells who work there to make it grow. Though i wonder if the liver cell would accept the evacuation

Thrax: We'll see.

Drix: I just hope the citizens take the news alright. Don't want to cause a panic

Hecro: They're better off knowing the truth

Thrax; 8nods8

Ozzie: Mmh... *stomach cramps up again* Excuse me *left the table to lie dwn on the couch*

Thrax; 8went after him8

Hecro: Growth spurt. Don't mind him. It happens

Drix: Yeah, I remember seeing it wen he had the triplets

Thrax; I'm just a bit jumpy at the moment.

Drix: Jumpy? How so?

Ozzie: *breathes long and hard, trying to ride out the pain*

Thrax: With what happened last time and before with the trio.

Ozzie: Pls...don't remind me... *winces as another cramp comes in*

Hecro: *keeps quiet. He knew wat Thrax meant bcoz of him watching ovr Ozzie behind the scenes since their family died*

Thrax; 8strokes ozzy's cheek8

Drix: Leah and I have already started packing. We just need to figure out what sort of vehicle that can be used to last us the journey outside

Hecro: Agreed. Most of the cars here in Frank are of cellular particles. They'll coagulate just like any cell

Thrax; There must be a way.

Drix: We'll figure it out somehow. In the meantime, Ozzie's health is of concern. Hecro, you'll watch ovr him while we handle matters, right?

Hecro: He's my brother. You can count on it

Thrax; And you know to call me if there's problems.

Hecro: No problem

Drix: *sees the time* I better be going. Still have some more packing to do. I'll see u tomorrow at the brain centre then, Thrax. We still need to hunt for organs

Thrax; 8nods8 C'ya then.

Hecro: Bye, Drix

Ozzie: *just waves at him slightly, the cramps still lingering*

Thrax; 8rubbed his back8

Hecro: The cramps seems to be much longer this time. Even longer than wen he had the triplets. And it's only twins this time

Thrax; 8bit his lip8

Ozzie: *sighs in relief as the cramps finally subsided* Ugh...dammit, I hope this is ovr quickly

Hecro: Just concentrate on ur health, Oz. Both u n the babies need it

Thrax; He's right.

Ozzie: *sits up n rubs his belly that has gotten bigger*

Thrax; 8stroked it gently8

Ozzie: *yawns n leans against Thrax* I'm...so...tired...

Thrax; 8lifted him up then carried him to bed8

Ozzie: *snuggles into the covers*

Hecro: *watches frm the door*

Thrax; 8kissed his forehead8

Hecro: Seems like this pregnancy is taking a little toll on his stamina. Every time he gets a growth spurt, he has to take a nap. It happened a few times wen ur out scouting for healthy organs

Thrax; What could it be/ This never happened before.

Hecro: I dunno. It could very well be something to do with him becoming a bio-weapon. I'm not sure yet. I'll have to observe him for a while. Don't worry. I'm sure it's nothing too serious

Thrax; 8still looked worried8

Hecro: I'll watch ovr him, don't worry. For now, u concentrate on saving as much ppl in Frank as possible *wheels out of the room n headed home*

Thrax; 8sighed8

Ozzie: *snores slightly*

Thrax; 8went to check on the kids8

Jared: *in the nursery asleep beside the crib, with a children's story book on his lap, while the trio have already snoozed in the crib*

Thrax; 8smiled at the scene8

Jared: *drooled n turned his head n continued to snooze*

Thrax; 8chuckled then carried the boy to bed8

Jared: *as soon as he was in bed, snuggled into the cover*

Thrax; 8kissed his forehead then returned to his room8

Ozzie: *talking in his sleep* Hey...Jamie...Junko...Mama's here... *dreaming abt having the twins already in his arms*

Thrax; 8sat on the bed8

Ozzie: Mama loves u... *smiles n went bk to snoring silently again*

Thrax; 8smiled then lay beside him8

*the next morning, as Thrax n Drix for their search, Ozzie and Hecro saw in the public plasma TV the announcement of Frank's condition wen they were out shopping for groceries*

Ozzie: *points at the TV* Hey, look, bro. It's Leah girl. She making teh live announcement now

Hecro: Yeah. I see her

Leah; 8stood in front of the crowd gathered and explain the situation8

Ozzie & Hecro: *watched quietly at the reaction of all the crowd*

8the crowd looked on in sheer panic8

Hecro: Let's go home, bro. Don't wanna get caught in the hysteria

Ozzie: Yeah. *wheels Hecro and headed home*

Thrax; 8also saw the news and became worried8

Drix: *sees the crowd in panic* It is to be expected, Thrax. Not everyone can take this news as calmly as we can

Thrax; And many of us haved already planned out.

Drix: Let's carry on. The sooner we find the organs, the sooner we can evacuate the citizens n put their mind at ease

Thrax; 8nodded8
