*in the morning, the midwife came in with Ozzie's breakfast*
Midwife: Rise n shine, time for breakfast, Mr Jones-Roja
Thrax; 8was still asleep in the chair8
Ozzie: *wanted to make a disgusted face secretly at Thrax bt he was asleep, so he took the food quietly*
8a flutter was felt as Hope woke up8
Ozzie: Hey, baby. U awake? Ugh, hospital breakfast is here
8a few sharp kicks were felt8
Ozzie: Hey, I don't like it either. But we gotta eat *sniffs the food* Hmm, food smells...kinda different today. New menu?
Thrax; 8twitched his nose then his eyes shot opened8
Ozzie: *shrugs n was abt to pop the food into his mouth*
Thrax; Ozzy don't.
Ozzie: Huh? Wht? Why?
Thrax; Something's not right with that food.
Ozzie: Of course its not right. It's hospital food. Its not suppose to be right. Although *sniffs at it* it does smell different
Thrax; Ozzy don't.
Ozzie: Oh dont be such a worried wart, Thrax *tasted a little with his tongue bt met with a burning sensation. It wasn't like tasting chilli, it was more like tasting acid* AAH!! *covered his mouth and spilled the food frm his jerk, which some of them got onto his skin n burnt him* AAH!!
Thrax; 8rang emerancy8
*the docs came in to remove the food frm the pod n treated his burnt wounds*
Thrax; 8hissed8
Doc: Luckily u only tasted it with ur tongue *opens a crack of the pod near Oz's face to dabs meds on Oz's tongue* If u had swallowed it, I dunno wat damage it'll do
Nurses: *bandages the burnt wounds on his skin*
Thrax; 8paced like a tiger8
*soon they were all done*
Doc: U'll have to refrain frm talking for a while, Mr. Jones-Roja, just until ur tongue heals ovr. Whoever gave u this food reli is out there to get u
Thrax; 8muttered to himself8
Doc: *takes a sample of the food n passed it to a nurse to be analysed* Well, I'll leave u two now *left the room*
Ozzie: *has gauze wrapped ard his tongue fastened with a bandage across his face, almost like a gag, while his arms were bandaged here n there*
Thrax; 8frowned8
Ozzie: *tries to give him a "I'm OK, don't worry" look*
Thrax; 8didn't look convinced8
*soon the old doc tht treated Jared bk then came in*
Old Doc: Hello there *sees Ozzie bandaged n in the pod* My, my, arent we in a predicament
Ozzie: *waved in greeting*
Thrax; That's putting it mildly.
Old Doc: Well, i'm here bcoz of the food sample I was given to test
Thrax; 8looked over8
Old Doc: U might find this poison vry familiar *shows him the chart*
Thrax; 8looked at it8
*the chart showed the exact same signature pattern as the poison tht Elektra used*
Ozzie: *gasped as he recognized it*
Thrax; Thought as much, whoever's out to get us worked with that little bitch.
Old Doc: Most probably. The cafeteria staff has been questioned n they say they dont see anyone suspicious
Ozzie: *rolled his eyes, as if saying "As usual"
Thrax; 8nodded in agreement to him8
Old Doc: At least u only had it by touch. If u were to ingest the whole thing u'd be dead in seconds, because this is a more highly concentrated formula, more thick n more potent, unlike the one ur son had, thus the burning feeling
Thrax; 8clenched his fist8
Old Doc: Well, u boys rest up now. Nice to see u guys again
Thrax; 8nodded8
Old Doc: *left the room*
Ozzie: *looked at the distressed Thrax n tried to smile, putting one hand on the glass n one hand on his belly*
Thrax; 8placed his hand with ozzy's8
Ozzie: *gives him a "I'm OK, dont worry" look*
Thrax; 8wished this would be over soon8
Ozzie: *leans his head against the glass* I wuv uu *says in a muffled voices because of the gag-like bandage*
Thrax; Love you to baby.
*a paper plane flew thru the window in the ward, n landed on Ozzie's pod*
Ozzie: *surprised*
Thrax; 8opened it8
Note: Have everyone there during the birth, n I mean EVERYONE. Ur gonna need all the help u can get for Pretty Baby -TM-

Thrax; Mole though he does have a point we need everyone here during Hope's birth for extra secerity.

*there were no more attempts since then, bt everyone kept a wary eye. Soon it finally reached Ozzie's final mth of pregnancy*
Thrax; 8was really on edge8

*everyone else was outside the ward, seated nervously as well*

Ozzie: *was in the pod, reading a mag to kill time*

*everyone jumped as they heard the signal*

*the doctors n midwives soon came in*
Ozzie: *breathes, trying to ride the pain*

Midwife: *opens the lower half of Ozzie's pod to feel Ozzie up* Ur almost dilated. Just a few more minutes
Ozzie: OK...Aah! *another contraction hit*
Thrax; Easy love.
Midwife: *feels him up again* Ur ready now *spread his legs* Alright, push with the contractions, Mr Jones-Roja
Ozzie: *knew the drill n pushed with it, like he had done so many times*

Midwife: Vry good, ur doing vry good. Keep it coming
Ozzie: *pushes dwn as he was coached, until he could feel her crowning* Oh spit...Oh spit, she's coming...!
Thrax; 8patted his hand8
Midwife: Easy, luv. I've got the head. Just keep pushing. U can do it
Mole: *was there as well, out of sight, sitting on a ledge outside the ward window listening in*
Thrax; Please Ozzy.
Ozzie: *grit his teeth n pushed dwn as hard as he could*
Midwife: Almost there, luv, almost there, come on
Ozzie: Oh Hector, it hurts...!!
Thrax; Just one more Ozzy.
Ozzie: *tries bt not hard enough*
Midwife: Harder, luv, harder. Give it all u got
Ozzie: *arched his bk as he let out a scream, pushing the baby out with all his might, almost bruising Thrax's hand n tearing the sheets*
8soon a cry filled the room8
*everyone perked up when they heard the cry*
Takashi: Ko...Kodomo-chan ka?
Midwife: Congratulations! It's a girl!
Ozzie: Oh...Oh, look, love, it's Hope...!
Thrax; 8had tears of joy in his eyes8
Mole: *smiles quietly as he heard the baby cry n the announcement*
Midwife: Alright love *passes the baby to Thrax* We'll have to remove ur womb now
Ozzie: *turns frm tears of joy to tears of sadness*
Thrax; 8stroked his hand8
Midwife: *injects something tht'll numb Ozzie frm the waist dwn before preparing the surgical tools*
Thrax; 8nuzzled his mate8
Ozzie: *starts crying* I'm sorry, Thrax...I'm so sorry...
Thrax; Not your fault baby.
Midwife: Alright, I'm gonna get it out now *cuts thru Ozzie n removed the womb*
*another midwife was ready with the metallic basin to take teh womb*
Thrax; 8swallowed8
Ozzie: *whimpered as he saw the midwife removed the womb, which looked totally crushed, n place it into the metal basin to be taken away*
Thrax; 8sighed then looked down at Hope8
*Hope looked like the female version of Thrax, only with blue dreads n no claws, n she had Ozzie's eyes*
Thrax; 8stroked her cheek8
Ozzie: *suddenly started hyperventilating n was bleeding badly*
Thrax; 8gasped8
Midwife: Oh no, doc! We need help here!
*all the docs got busy helping him, while one of the nurse ushered Thrax out of the ward*
Thrax; Hey easy.
Nurse: Sorry, pls let us do our job *closes the door*
Takashi: Do...Doshita, Thrax ottota-chan? Ozzie-chan...?
Dieter: Wht's wrong? Wht happened?
Thrax; He's bleeding badly.
*everyone worries*
*suddenly the sound of flat-line*
Doc: Spit, we're losing him!
Jared: M...Mommy!
Spryman: Momma!
Thrax; ~Ozzy~
*sounds of the heart pumping machine was heard. The loud thumps n the docs shouting "Clear!" echoed throughout the room*
Thrax; 8bit his lip8
*soon the sound of heartbeat was heard n the docs came out*
Thrax; 8shot up8
Hecro: H...How is my brother?
Doc: He's out of the loop for now, n he no longer needs the pod, bt he'll still have to recuperate in ICU for a while. Overall, the surgery was more or less successful
Midwife: If u dont mind, I'd like to take the baby to have her checked out. Standard procedure
Thrax; 8narrowed his eyes8
*Mole approached him frm behind, blending in with the crowd*
Mole: I'll watch ovr her. U look aftr Pretty Baby
Thrax; 8held his daughter close8
Midwife: Everything will be fine. It's standard procedure
Drix: Pls. U want Hope to be alright, dont u?
Thrax; 8handed Hope to the nurse but send a telephathic message to Julius8 ~Watch over Hope.~
Julius; 8made sure no one was looking and phased into the shadows8
Mole: *also followed in the shadows*
Ozzie: *is finally out of the pod n on bed, sleeping with a breathing mask on*
Thrax; 8sat beside him8
*everyone else entered to see him*
Jared: Ah, finally, I can touch Mommy now *took one of his hand n caress it together with Spryman*
Thrax; 8smiled8
Drix: At least he alright now. Hopefully aftr recuperation he'll be bk on his feet
Hecro: Oz is strong n spunky. He'll pull thru

Julius; 8was keeping close watch on Hope8
*the midwife tht took Hope placed her on the changing table n removed her disguise, revealing to be the red blood she-cell all along*

Midwife: Aah, u've eluded me long enough, girl. Ur mother has spirit, I'll give him tht much. Bt once ur dead, we'll see if he can keep up tht spirit for long *takes out a pen-like syringe containing the poison formula*
Julius; 8tackled her and tore open her shoulder8
Mole: *jumps in as well, tackling her dwn*
Midwife: Ahh, fuck!! Wht the...?!
Mole: Hold it there, Effendy. Pretty Baby's lil girl is not for ur taking!
Julius; 8took out a set of cuffs and sackled her8
Effendy: Wht r u all, in love with this guy? Every woman n man going all out for him! Ow, easy!

Julius; picked up his niece, cooing to her and urshered everyone out8
Spryman: *hears the commotion* Wht's going on?
Thrax; ~Way da go big brother~

Alexis; That's what we're all asking.

Hecro: Guess it's time we left now. Let ur mother rest, kids *picks some of the kids up with his tentacles*
Jared: *picks Sakura up*
