*time passes by, n soon it was time for Ricky's surgery*
Drix: *knocks on the door where Ricky n Antonio shared at dawn* Guys?
Antonio; 8slowly opened the door8
Drix: Hey, sorry to wake you. But we have to do it right now. By morning light, the hormone clans will be released n Sprite's clinic is going to be fully booked for worse case scenarios. This is the only free time Sprite has
Antonio; 8went to get Ricky up8
Ricardo: *stirs frm his sleep* Mmh...? Wht is it...?
Antonio; Get dress we need to head to the clinic.
Ricardo: Umm...? *looks at the time* Bt...Bt its so early...
Antonio; This is the only time we can do it.
Ricardo: *yawns* OK... *got up tiredly n got dressed before leaning his head on Antonio's shoulders, still vry sleepy*
Drix: *pops his head in* All ready, guys?
Antonio; 8grabs Ricky's suitcase8 Let's go.
Drix: *nods n helps Antonio to carry Ricky to allow him to sleep some more. Sprite's mini van was already waiting outside, n Sprite was "chatting" with Leah*
Antonio; 8gently placed his mate in the van8
Drix: I'll be heading straight to work frm here, darling. U have a good day now *kisses Leah*
Leah; 8kissed him8 Be careful.
Drix: I will. Go bk to bed, darling, n have some rest *enters the passenger seat of the van n drove off*
Leah; 8headed back to the house8
*they drove dwn all the way to the left lung where Sprite's clinic/home was*
Antonio; 8made sure Ricky was comfortable8
Ricardo: *was still asleep in Antonio's arms*
Drix: *got out of the car n took Ricky's suitcase* C'mon, let's get him inside
Antonio; 8carried him in8
Sprite: *writes* Take him to the room at the far end. I have tht booked for u. I'll prepare the necessary tools
Antonio; Gracias. 8carries Ricky to the room and gently lays him on the bed8
Ricardo: *curls up a little to continue sleeping, although he was slightly awake now*
Antonio; 8stroked his hair8
Sprite: *comes in with his equipment n writes* U wanna be with him during the surgery?
Antonio; Of course I do.
Sprite: *writes* Alright. Try n wake him up, we need him to be awake for this procedure
Antonio; 8gently shook his mate8 Ricky/
Ricardo: *stirs* Hmm...? Wht...?
Antonio; Sweet it's time.
Ricardo: Mmh...OK... *rubs the sleep off his eyes*
Sprite: *dabs some novocaine onto the underside of Ricky's belly, waited a while n wrote something before using a pin to prick tht area* Do u feel this?
Ricardo: *shook his head* No
Sprite: *nodded n took out a scalpel, cutting the underside gently*
Antonio; 8took his mate's hand8
Ricardo: *could feel the pressure of the cut, bt there was no pain, although he felt it a little wen Sprite reaches in to pry the baby out as he winced a little*
Antonio; 8held his breathe8
Sprite: *looks up to Antonio n spoke with his eyes saying "Tell him to push just a little bit for me to pull it out easier"*
Antonio; 8to Ricky8 Please sweetie just a little push.
Ricardo: *nodded n bit his lip, pushing dwn a little bit*
Sprite: *gave it a little tug at his end n slowly pulled out one baby. He massaged n clapped the bk n removed the fluid frm the baby's mouth until it started crying*
Antonio; 8smiled, tears in his eyes8
Ricardo: *tears well up in his eyes too* Is...Is it a boy or a girl?
Sprite: *smiles n wriggled his index finger, meaning it was a boy*
Antonio; Carlos.
Sprite: *wraps the baby up in a warm blanket before returning to take out the other one, telling the same thing to Antonio with his eyes again*
Antonio; One more time sweetie.
Ricardo: *bit his lip again n pushed dwn as he did before*
Sprite: *being tht the baby was a little deeper inside of Ricky than her brother, he told with his eyes at Antonio "Just a little bit harder"*
Antonio; A bit more love.
Ricardo: *does so, going a bit harder, whining as he felt a little bit more pain in this*
Sprite: *aftr a few tugs n an extra last push frm Ricky, he got the baby out, n repeated wht he did with the brother on her until she started crying, before smiling n held up his pinky finger, meaning its a girl*
Antonio; Juanita
Sprite: *wraps the girl in another blanket before handing to Antonio, give him a congratulating smile before returning to sew Ricardo up*
Antonio; 8cooed at his children8
Ricardo: *reaches up* C-Can I see them, Tony...?
Antonio; 8gently handed the twins to him8
Ricardo: *took them gently in his arms, studying their features. Both of them had their father's hair n eyes n features of their mother*
Antonio; 8sat next to his mate8
Ricardo: They're beautiful...They're so beautiful...I cant believe it... *cries happy tears*
Antonio; 8kisses Ricardo's cheek8
Ricardo: Hey, babies. Ur Mama's here. *kisses the babies' cheeks* Welcome to the world
8the little ones smiled up at them8
Drix: *pokes in* Hey guys. Everything alright in there?
Antonio; Everything's fine. 8stroked Juanita's cheek8
Drix: Sprite told me the surgery was a success. Congratulations
Ricardo: Couldnt have done it without u
Antonio; Thank you Drix
Drix: No big. Ur friends of the family, n I'm glad to help out. *looks at the babies* So, got names for them?
Antonio; 8smiled8 Carlos; 8stroked his son's hair8 and Juanita. 8nuzzled his daughter8
Drix: Mm, nice names. It suits them *tickles their chins* Hello there. I'm Uncle Drix
8they giggled and Carlos gummed at his finger8
Drix: *chuckles* He's got a strong bite there
Ricardo: Like his father, no doubt
Antonio; 8smirked8
Drix: Well, I'll be heading off to work now. It's time for me to set those hormones loose. U rest good now. I'll tell the guys where u r so they can visit
Antonio; Grascias Drix.
Drix: Ur welcome. Cya *waves goodbye n left*
Ricardo: *yawns, tired out frm the procedure*
Antonio; 8gently took the twins8
Ricardo: *curled up n fell asleep almost immediately*
Antonio; 8nuzzled his son and daughter8
Sprite: *comes in with a clinic crib n smiles, writes* How's everyone doing?
Antonio; Ricardo's resting.
Sprite: *writes* U can plc ur babies in the crib if u like. U should get some rest too. U look tired
Antonio; I'll be alright.
Sprite: *writes* Alright, bt if u want to u can sleep at our visitor's lounge. Congratulations again on ur brood
Antonio; Grascias.
Sprite: * caresses the babies' cheeks n smiled before leaving*
Antonio; 8sat down in the chair with the twins8
Ricardo: *smiled in his sleep, obviously having a good dream*
Antonio; 8purred softly8
