*mths passed by with no incident by far. N while Hecra was slowly getting along with the kids n his new family, Julius' pregnancy was almost due*

Excalibur: *nuzzled the belly, cant wait to see his new "member of the pack"

*suddenly there was a sharp pain*

Morty: U OK, lovebug?
Excalibur: *could tell by smell tht Julius was not OK*
Julius; Nothing to worry about
Morty: R u sure? *put his hand on his belly to feel it*
*another pain came, more like a contraction*
Julius; 8winced8
Morty: Wht do u feel, lovebug?
Julius; Just a slight pain
Morty: I think we should take u to the hospital, just in case. C'mon, Excalibur, lets go
Excalibur: *woofed n helped Morty n Julius up on him*
Julius; 8winced8
*the dog quickly went all the way to the hospital*
Morty: *once there, he carried Julius in*
Doctor: *the one who treated Julius last time* Oh, its u two. Is it time already?
Morty: I dunno. He said he's feeling slight pain
Doctor: Well, lets chk him first. Bring a wheelchair ovr, nurse

Doctor: *wheeled him into one of the maternity wards n helped him on the bed*
Morty: *nvr left Julius' side*
Julius; 8bit his lip8
Doctor: *chked his vitals* I see we're in the first few stages of labour. Ur contractions r still quite far apart, so u'll just hv to ride it for a while until its at least 5 mins apart, then we'll see. In the meantime, maybe u can take him to walk ard once in a while, get the baby ready to shift dwnwards
Morty: *nods* C'mon, lovebug, lets go take a walk ard the room awhile *helps him up*
Julius; 8stood up8
Morty: *helped Julius to walk ard the room* Remember the breathing, lovebug
Julius; 8nods8
*aftr abt a couple of hours of sitting, leaning against the wall, walking ard the hospital n some water-drinking in btwn, the contractions were getting more intense*
Julius; 8bit his lip8
Morty: Easy, lovebug. Just a bit longer *rubbed his bk to ease his pain*
Julius; 8nods8
Morty: *kissed his cheek* U wanna sit dwn?
Julius; Yes
Morty: *settle him dwn bk in the bed*
Doctor: *comes bk in* Well, how far has the contractions been?
Morty: Abt 2 minutes apart now
Doctor: Alright, lemme chk the dilation. Pls spread ur legs, sir
Julius; 8spreda his legs8
Doctor: *chked him* Looks like ur almost fully dilated. Lets get u ready now *calls in the midwives n nurses*
Morty: *held Julius' hand*
Julius; 8bit his lip8
Doctor: Alright, sir, at ur nxt contraction I want u to push, OK? Work with the contractions n push, dont fight it. Ready?
Julius; 8nods8
Morty: *supported his bk*
Doctor: Alright, push wen u feel it. Push!
Julius; 8pushed down when he felt the contraction8
Doctor: Tht's vry good, nice big push
Morty: *held his hand*
Doctor: Keep going
Julius; 8gripped Morty's hand tight as he pushed down8
Morty: *bear with the ache on his hand, knwing the pain was 10 times worse for Julius*
Doctor: Ur doing reli good. Push harder, its almost crowning
Julius; 8bit his lip hard as he pushed down8
Doctor: Vry good, vry good, the head is all the way out, the shoulders r coming, keep going
Morty: U can do it, my lovebug *kissed his forehead* Pls, dont hurt urself, here, bite dwn on my hand *puts his hand to his mouth*
Julius; 8bit down on his hand as he kept pushing8
Morty: *winced bt held onto it*
Doctor: Alright, ur almost there, just gimme one last push. Give it a big one
Julius; 8gritted his teeth and pushed hard8
Doctor: *caught the baby, which aftr clearing the airways, gave a loud piercing cry*
Julius; 8fell back8
Morty: Is it a boy? Or a girl?
Julius; 8pants8
Doctor: *chked* Congratulations, its a girl!
Morty: Hear tht, lovebug? We hv a princess! Oh, thank u, thank u so much *kissed Julius deeply*
Julius; 8smiled gently8
Doctor: *cut the cord n wrapped her up in pink blankets* Here ya go *passed it to Morty*
Morty: *carried her gently n showed it to Julius* Look, its our princess
Julius; 8gently took their daughter and looked her over8
*she looked like a female version of Morty, bt with Julius' eyes*
Julius; 8stroked her cheek8
Morty: Wht shall we name her? *wiped his own tears of joy*
Julius; Aida
Morty: Aida. Yes, tht sounds like a nice name. How abt Aida Verona Quintin-Retroviridae?
Julius; Verona?
Morty: I was born during the Shakesperean era, remember? N interestingly I was born wen Romeo&Juliet first debuted on stage. N, well, *blushed* Tht's my middle name too. U can guess why, frm my past

Morty: Looks like she's all tuckered out, n so r u, lovebug *kissed Julius' forehead*

Morty: *takes Aida* Sleep now, my lovebug. U deserve the rest

Morty: *aftr putting Aida into her crib, went to make the call to everyone to tell them the good news*

Alexis; Hey man, what's up?
Morty: Good news, I'm officially a father now! We've got a little girl!
