*almost two hours later, Drix finally came into the room*
Maximus; 8looked up8
Hecro: *sat up* Drix, how's the baby? Is it OK?
Drix: *sighed* It was an almost miscarriage, due to the trauma of separation n extraction of u n him. We were barely able to keep it alive, n he'll be in intensive care for at least 2 mths at most. He's got a bit of a weak heart, so the nxt 3 days is touch n go
Maximus; 8gulped8
Drix: Oh, btw, congratulations. U hv a baby boy. Got a name to go with it?
Maximus; Haven't decided yet
Hecro: A baby boy, huh? Tht's good. Can we see him?
Drix: Sure, bt unfortunately u'll hv to see him in an incubator as did Takashi's twins tho
Maximus; 8nods8
Hecro: Shall we go hv a look, love?
Maximus; Yes
Hecro: *waited for Maximus to get up before going to the ward, holding the kids close*
Maximus; 8wrapped his arm round him8
*the duo soon reached the intensive care, n found the baby in the incubator. He was so tiny, tinier than Takashi's twins were, n was fitted with tubes n such n a breathing mask. It looked like Hecra, bt seemed to hv Maximus' hair n eyes*
Hecro: Oh Frank...He's so tiny...
Maximus; 8swallowed8
Hecro: Look, kids *brought Shane n Alakay towards teh incubator* Its ur new baby brother
Shane: Bobu (brother) so small
Alakay; Bro
Shane: *whimpered at the sight of his brother so small* Bobu will die?
Maximus; We're not sure angel, it touch and go at the moment
Hecro: Lets keep our fingers crossed n hope for the best
Maximus; 8nods8
*an hour later, Hecra finally woke up frm the sedatives*
Maximus; 8was sitting with him8
Hecro: *sees him waking* Hey, bro. How're u doing?
Hecra: Mmmhh... *remembered wht happened* Baby...? Where's my baby...?
Maximus; Easy now
Hecro: Easy, bro. Brace urself... *told him everything*
Hecra: *heard everything n started crying* No...Oh Frank no...Its...Its my fault...
Maximus; Calm down
Hecro: Its not ur fault. It just happened. It was the trauma of the extraction. Ur not to blame...
Hecra: Bt if it werent for me, we wouldnt be extracted, n the baby would've been fine... *sobs*
Maximus; 8held him close8
Hecra: *sobs in his arms*
Hecro: *held him too in a group hug* No one's blaming u, bro. These things just happen. Dont blame urself. At least the baby is alive, we'll just need to pray for the best
Maximus; 8nods8
Hecra: *sobbed, burying his face on Maximus' chest*
Maximus; 8rubbed his back8
Hecro: *sighed, feeling bad for Hecra*
Maximus; 8was also worried8
Hecra: I...I wanna see our baby...
Maximus; 8helped him into the wheelchair8
Hecro: *accompanied him, helping him too*
Hecra: *looked a little nervous*
Maximus; 8wheeled him to the intensive care area8
Hecro: *once there, led him to the incubator* Here he is, bro
Hecra: *placed a trembling hand on the incubator, seeing his tiny little baby* S...So small...
Maximus; 8rubbed Heecra's shoulder in comfort8
Hecra: W...Will he be OK?
Hecro: Its a touch n go, bt Drix will do everything in his power to help him
Maximus; For now we can only pray
Hecra: *nodded with a sigh*
Maximus; 8patted his shoulder8
Hecra: Can I name him...?
Maximus; Of course
Hecra: I...I want to name him...Hunter
Hecro: I...Isnt tht...?
Hecra: *nods* Our brother tht would've been
Maximus; 8arched a brow8
Hecro: Oh sorry u didnt knw. Our mother was pregnant again wen we were 4 yrs old, bt aftr our father divorced her, the stress caused her to miscarry
Maximus; Hasn't that bastard ruined enough lives
Hecra: Its OK. He's gone now, n we hv our family. I'm fine with wht we hv achieved right now
Hecro: He's right on tht

Hecro: N we hv u *kissed Maximus*
Hecra: *kissed Maximus too*
Maximus; 8went scarlet8
*the two giggled n nuzzled against him, behaving almost like twins*
Maximus; I'm gonna have to get use to this
Hecro: U will
Hecra: *nods, then looked at Hunter longingly* So...is the name Hunter OK for u?
Maximus; Yes, it suits him
Hecra: Hey, Hunter. Mommy's here. U hang in there, OK? Pls...? For us...? *couldnt hold bk his tears*
Maximus; 8held him close8
Hecro: *joined in the hug*
Maximus; 8nuzzled him8
