*another week has passed. Ozzie, Thrax n the kids were slowly recovering, gaining more of their strength, weight n speech. While they were still admitted, the rest of the family arranged the funeral for Jared*
Alexis; 8was sorting the right clothes8
Dieter: *went to the undertaker to get the right sized coffin*
Antonio; 8had arranged a good plot in the cemetary8
Takashi: *hired a good parish to conduct the funeral rites*
Alexis; Anyone know the date/
Takashi: *shrugged* I thought Antonio onii decided on tht
Antonio; In a few days
Dieter: *nodded*
Alexis; Thanks
Takashi: Wht did u get for Jared's funeral clothes?
Alexis; 8had selected the suit Jared wore to the wedding8
Takashi: Ah, kire (pretty). I'm sure Ozzie-chan will approve
Alexis; 8nods8
Takashi: All done with the coffin, Dieter oni-chan?
Dieter: Ja. Measurements all set n done. Zey'll get it prepared before ze funeral day
Alexis; Clothes are ready
Antonio; Flowers too
Ricardo: So the funeral is all just us, right? No one crashing the scene or anything?
Alexis; 8nods8
Dieter: If zey dare to come, I vill show zem vat for *brandished his claws*
Alexis; 8flexed his8
Takashi: Maa, maa. Daijobu. No one will crash a funeral. I'm sure everything will be fine
Antonio; Let's hope
*a few days later, the funeral procession began, n everyone was there, evn Oz, Thrax n the kids and Morty*
Thrax; 8swallowed the vile in his throat8
Ozzie: *leaned close to Thrax, sobbing quietly*
Thrax; 8held him8
*the parish read the funeral rites, blessing the ceremony*
Takashi: *held his hands in Japanese style prayer*
Dieter: *does so in German*
Antonio; 8in Spanish8
Ricardo: *prayed as well along with the parish*
Thrax; 8hung his head8
*the parish finally finished reading teh funeral rites n gestured the altar boy to sing the funeral song while the gravediggers started lowering the coffin n filling the hole*
Sakura; 8laid a rose on the coffin8
*everyone else followed suit*
Thrax; 8weakly laid the last one on8
Jamie&Junko: *had brought Jared's fav comforter pillow n gave it to the gravediggers to put it inside the coffin in Jared's arm*
8everyone bowed their heads in respect8
*the grave diggers finished filling up the hole n the parish gave his last prayers*
Rory; 8brushed his hand over the grave8
*the parish nodded n took his leave, wishing condolences to the family*
Ozzie: *came to the grave n ran his fingers along the tombstone*
Thrax; 8swallowed hard8
*after a moment of long silence, they made their way home, as Oz was officially discharged along with Thrax n the kids*
8everyone was silent8
Ozzie: * helped Thrax to their room n settled him together with Sakura n Rory before going dwnstairs to make himself a cup of coffee*
Alexis; 8was drinking a beer8
Takashi: *drinking green tea, contemplating abt everything's tht happened*
Antonio; 8rested his head on his arms8
Dieter: *was watching Julius leaning against Morty n sighed, thinking abt everything n nothing at the same time*
8the kids exchanged looks8
Jamie&Junko: *looked at each other n nodded, before opening their mouths to sing a soothing Enya-like song to make everyone feel better*
8many looked over8
Ozzie: *smiled n listened in*
Antonio; 8lifted his head8
Jamie&Junko: *continued to sing, pouring out their hearts into the song, wanting to make everyone feel better*
Alexis; 8sighed i content8
*slowly everyone actually felt a little better, n some hummed along with the twins*
Antonio; 8smiled8
Ozzie: *came to the twins n hugged them* Thank u, babies
Jamie&Junko: *cuddled him*
8the group smiled at them8
Ozzie: I knw its not going to be easy to get ovr Jared being gone, guys, bt I'm sure he would've wanted us to be happy n move on, so let's try our best to be bk the way we were, a'ight, guys?
Antonio; We'll try
Ozzie: *smiled* Well, for starters, lemme make Thrax something to eat
Alexis; Think he'll eat it/
Ozzie: It's soft stuff, though I do hope he does eat it, n Sakura n Rory would want their milk too
Antonio; Let's hope
Ozzie: *nods n made the food, then takes it upstairs to the room*
8it was quiet8
Ozzie: *entered the room with the food*
Thrax; 8was laying on the bed with Rory and Sakura8
Ozzie: *came to them n placed the food on the bedside table* Hey baby * caresses Thrax's dreads*
Thrax; 8slowly turned his head8
Ozzie: U feeling a little better now?
Thrax; Not. Really
Ozzie: Maybe u should try eating a little. The kids need it too *picks the kids up n gently nursed them*
Thrax; 8slowly sat up8
Ozzie: *held the kids in one arm n placed the food on Thrax's lap* Eat as much as u can. Dont force urself *nurses the kids with his milk*
Thrax; 8slowly ate a few bites8
Ozzie: *hummed a lullaby as he helped the kids feed as much as possible*
8they only took a little before turning their heads8
Ozzie: Aww, had enough already, babies? U sure u dont want more?
8they shook their heads8
Ozzie: *sighed sadly n put them dwn, tucking them in*
Thrax; 8only managed a tird of the bowl8
Ozzie: Had enough, love?
Thrax; 8nods8
Ozzie: *takes the plate away n cuddled him* I knw things will turn out better, slowly bt surely. N I knw Jared would want us to be happy. The guys r willing to try to get their act together, I hope u can too, love
Thrax; 8looked at him8
Ozzie: I'm trying too. Jamie n Junko tried to cheer us up, n I'm sure our kids dont want us to stay sad for the rest of our lives. *hugs Thrax* I hope we both can go thru this, for Jared
Thrax; 8held him close8
Ozzie: *leaned ovr to kiss him*
Thrax; 8gently kissed him back8
Ozzie: I love u, Thrax. N I knw we can get thru this together
Thrax; 8softly nods8
Ozzie: *smiled n cuddled against him*
Thrax; 8nuzzled8
Ozzie: *patted the kids to sleep while cuddling Thrax some more*
Thrax; 8started drifting back to sleep8
Ozzie: *kissed the virus' forehead n tucked them in before bringing the food dwn*
8the others looked up8
Ozzie: *smiled* He's alright. Ate a little n all. We'll pull thru
8the group nodded8
