*as if on cue, the monitoring doctor came in n chked Oz's vitals*

Drix: Wat's the verdict, doc?

Thrax; 8looked up8

Doc: U guys managed to bring him in the nick of time, any longer n he would've been dead. His self-healing attributes as a cell is kicking in, bt the damage is done. I'm sorry, bt ur friend will nvr speak a word again

Drix: Oh...Oh no...

Thrax; 8stiffened8

Drix: Is there anyway to fix it?

Doc: Sorry. The cut was too deep. His vocal chords r completely damaged. We had to completely remove them out. Bt hey, at least he's still alive, n tht's all tht matters, right?

Drix: Y...eah, I guess so.

Doc: Oh, n I had to get rid of his clothes tho. They were reeking with cigarette smoke. Ur friend must be a chain smoker, isnt he? *left the room*

Thrax; 8started transforming when the doctor said cigarette smoke8

Drix: Did he just say cig... *sees Thrax transforming* No, no, Thrax, calm dwn! Not here! Not at the hospital n not in front of Oz! *drags him out to the hospital bkyard*

Drix: Calm dwn, Thrax. U dont knw if it's... There was a lot of fire fighting n gun powder n plasma shots n stuff. There's no way... Will u calm dwn just for a bit?!

Thrax; 8took  a deep breath8

Drix: Look, I knw I sound a bit of a doofus, bt all we got is just circumstancial evidence. The only person to witness the attack is Oz himself, n only he can tell us who it is. Thrax; 8inhaled deeply n nodded8

*a loud commotion was heard n u can hear Maximus being ordered to call Thrax in*

Thrax; 8walked in8

Ozzy: *was awake n was smashing things ard, freaking out abt his voice not coming out of his mouth, n he was not letting anyone come near him bcoz he somehow managed to get his gun*

Thrax; 8quickly moved8

Ozzy: *wordlessly scream, crying hard, trying to get his words out, bt it just came out as wheezes n he was stressing his injuries, all the while waving the gun ard*

Thrax; 8wrapped his arms round him8

Ozzy: *realized it was Thrax hugging him n started sobbing hard in his arms*

Thrax; 8held him close, stroking his hair8

Ozzy: *looked up at him tearfully, gesturing to his throat, as if asking wat happened to him*

Thrax; 8took a deep breath n gently told him what happened8

Ozzy: *stared wide-eyed as Thrax told him everything, then held his head, trying to remember wat were the exact features of his assailant was, bt it drew a blank. She was literally too hazy to recall, all he could remember were the eyes n the lips, nothing else. He clenched his eyes tight, feeling so useless right now*

Thrax; 8held him8

Ozzy: *sobbed until he passed out in Thrax's arms*

Thrax; 8held him8

Drix: *comes in* How's he? Oi vey, wat a mess *starts cleaning up*

Thrax; 8scooped his mate up8

Drix: *finished cleaning up* How's he taking it?

Ozzy: *shape-shifted into the look he adopted wen he was at the Zit bk in Frank n donned his janitor clothes n pretend to clean while he shadows the suspects*

Maximus; 8listened in on the wire8

*soon the appointed time was at hand, at 10pm sharp, the two gangs met*

Illumina: *shows up in her killer sexy attire, meeting up with the defacto cell she was going to trade the adrenaline with*

Ozzy: *watches as the exchange was being made, then whispered to the wire* Alert. Exchange has been made. I repeat, exchange has be-- *was suddenly engulfed by a cloud of smoke, n the last thing he saw was a pair of glowing yellow eyes n a feminine looking smirk before his throat was slit n was shoved out of his hiding plc right before the dealership's feet*

Illumina: Wat the--?? We've been made! Scatter, evryone!

Eduardo: We're blown! We're blown! Go in NOW!!

Drix: *cocked his cannon n charged into the raid*

Maximus; 8cocked his blaster n followed8

8a huge shoot out ensued as the dealers n the cops exchanged fires8

Ozzy: 8was on the grd grabbing his throat, choking on his own blood8

Drix: Oz! Hang in there, Oz! Man dwn! We got a man dwn!!

Maximus; 8shot at a few then ran up to Drix8

Eduardo: 8sees it too n radios in for the paramedics8

Drix: 8tries to put pressure on the wound8

8the raid was partially successful as most of the dealers were either dead or arrested, bt Illumina got away8

Eduardo: 8ran towards Oz n yelled out loud at his crew8 Where the hell is the paramedics?! We're losing him here!!

Ozzy: *slowly loses consciousness*

Drix: Don't go to sleep! Oz, wake up! Don't fall asleep!!

*the paramedics soon arrived n wheeled him n other casualties to the hospital*

Drix: I'm gonna call Thrax. U better follow behind the ambulance, Max. I'll catch up with u

Drix: *took a deep breath n dialed Thrax's cell*

Drix: Yeah, I got pulled into it. Guess it's like old times, huh?

Maximus; 8nodded to them8

Ozzy: *approached him* So, wats the deal abt this adrenaline trafficking heist thing? Why did they need us?

Maximus; I wasn't given the details

Drix: Hm, odd. Well, we'll see wat Eduardo has to say abt this

Eduardo: *shows up* Alright, evryone here? Good, we need all the manpower we can get at this point

Ozzy: Heh, this should be interesting

Eduardo: For those who just came in n don't knw abt the situation, here's the long n short of it *started the slideshow* This is Illumina Hypothermia, the lady boss of the Gangrene Clan. She's a germ who has been running the joint ard the adrenal glands for a few yrs since Goliath had the war with Xanatos tht cost the life of his brethren Hudson. We suspect tht the recent increase in crime activity going on in the glands on other areas n making Goliath rather agitated n high spirited recently is due to her adrenaline trafficking, bt we havent managed to be able to nail the pin on the donkey, so to speak, until recently wen we got a tip off frm our CI. The deal goes dwn tonight, n we catch them in the act n put her n her clan behind bars once n for all

Maximus; 8whispered to ozzy9 Hope they kept Goliath stable while he was round his young

Ozzy: Yeah. I hv been seeing thru the Eye Channel lately tht Goliath's been a bit of ass lately, bt thankfully the family is attributing it to stress of being a new parent

Drix: I heard Goliath almost took a swing at Broadway ovr some lame joke

Maximus; 8narrowed his eyes8 The soon we take them down the better

Eduardo: Now, the deal will take plc at the south side of the Spleen District, and will take plc tonight at exactly 10pm sharp. We hv our CI to keep tabs on them, bt for now, we will stake out at the plc n also hv some undercovers stationed there to shadow the dealers. Lets hope we can lock this lady boss up for good this time. Here's the roster list to see wat u will be doing during this stake out *passed the paper along*

*a week has passed n so far there hv been no side effects or difference to Morty's demeanour while he has Bloodmoon as his new dog. He's finally recovered n ready to return home*

*the group made thier way to the morgue where Excalibur was kept covered on the morgue table*

Morty: *wheeled himself towards the body n uncovered it*
