Ricardo: [came up to them a few mins later] Hey guys, ready to order?

Takashi: Hai [ordered a double portion of one of their signature set dinners]
Orion; 8smiled then ordered just a grilled chicken panini with a salad8
Ricardo: Wow, u got a big appetite there, Taka [writes dwn their order] Eating for two? [meant tht as a joke]
Takashi: [just blushed quietly]
Orion; 8smiled8
Ricardo: [looked btwn them for a moment n gasped, exclaiming in a whisper] Oh my Hector, u reli ARE eating for two? I was just joking!
Takashi: [giggled] Hai hai, got another bun in the oven, nbd
Orion; 8blushed8
Ricardo: Congratulations, u guys~
Takashi: Domo. Sa, harahate desu ne. I reli need to eat
Ricardo: Right, right, sorry. I'll get it right away [went to get their order]

Takashi: I hv a feeling he's not gonna keep tht secret for long [giggled a little]

Ricardo: [walked past the bar n whispered to Alexis abt it]

Takashi: [smiled thru his blush]

[moments later, Ricardo came with their order]
Ricardo: Here u go, guys. Everyone is saying congrats to u guys
Takashi: Damare ja nai no ka? (Couldn't keep quiet, could u?)
Ricardo: A good news like tht should nvr be kept secret [chuckled] Besides, ur gonna show n they'll find out sooner or later. Better sooner
Orion; Alexis would've picked up your scent if he wasn't in the restaurant

Ricardo: Anyways, congrats, n enjoy ur meal~ [walks off to get orders from other customers]

[more customers hv come in, looking like it would be another busy night]
Takashi: Looks like since Frank's Diner hosted the campaign dinner for Nathan Pox, business has been buzzing

Takashi: Hai hai, n so did our shop as well since Desdemona-san used our clothes design for her campaign

[the duo ate their dinner n engaged in lovey-dovey small talk along the way]
8business was increasing around them causing Leah to go back n forth between cooking n helping the waitering staff8

Takashi: Evn with the new hires, she's still pretty busy desu-ne, maybe its time she hired some more. She's got the space n cash to spare

Takashi: [smiled sadly] At least this time ard, it's urs... [still had the lingering guilt bcoz of Renai n whom she reli came from]

Antonio; 8soon came over with a large slice of cake8
Takashi: [kissed the hand, then sees the cake] Ooh~ Oishi desho [looks yummy]
Antonio; Hope it's to ya liking Taka 8set the plate down8
Takashi: [took a whiff of the smell] I'm already liking it. Arigatogozaimasu, Antonio onii~
Antonio; 8smiled then went back to work8
Takashi: [scoops a spoonful of the cake n popped it in his mouth] Mmm~ Oishi ne, chocolate lava cake mecha oishi (super delicious) [scoops again n held it to Orion's mouth] Try some ne?
Orion; 8took a bite, savouring the taste8 That is good

[the duo sat in comfortable silence, one hand holding each other's while they ppl-watch]

Orion; 8called someone over fr the check8
Ricardo: [shows up] All done? Did u enjoy ur meal?
Takashi: Haii, vry much, domo~
Orion; Thanks, it was delicious
Ricardo: [puts the bills] Here's the chk. Family discount as usual
Orion; 8took out his debit card8
Ricardo: [takes his card] Brb [went to where Julius is at the cashier area]

Ricardo: Chk for Taka n Orion's table [passes him the debit card]
Julius; 8brought up the order then swiped the card8
Ricardo: [got the receipt n took the card bk] So u heard abt Taka?
Julius; Yes, not hard to keep quiet in our family
Ricardo: [giggled] Well, at least its good news, n it looks like Taka n Orion r happy abt it. Well, prolly something to look forward to tell to our folks in The Plains

Ricardo: Toni said Thrax texted the group saying tht we can do it nxt weekend, give time for Di n Vince to settle dwn

[the duo left the restaurant, bidding goodbye to their clan before getting into their car n made their way home]

[the babysitter was waiting for them wen they got home]
Takashi: Tadaima~ (we're home) Sunimasen, didn't mean to keep u waiting, Neena-san
Babysitter: It's OK, no worries
Orion; 8scooped up Renai8
Takashi: Where r the rest of the kodomo-chan?
Babysitter: They're all asleep. I just finished giving Renai her latest feeding. She's all tuckered out now

Babysitter: Thanks [takes the money] Same time tomorrow?
