Milagro: Baby? [pointed at Ricardo's slightly overdue belly]

Antoniio; I'll need to call Drix to check on him

Carlos: OK, we'll watch ovr Mami, right, Juanita?

Ricardo: [slowly started to stir, wincing a little n soon his water broke]

Carlos: Uh-oh, Papi, Mami is peeing!

Antonio; 8checked8 That's not urine Carlos 8quickly called Drix8

Drix: [was in the middle of his Long John Sandwich lunch, answered the call] Hello?

Antonio; We have a emergency Drix

Drix: Its Ricky, isn't it? Wow, Mr Stork sure's working overtime today. I'll be right there [finishes his sandwich as fast as he could n left while sipping his coffee]

Ricardo: [starting to wake now as the contractions came in] Nnnhh... T-Toni...

Antonio; 8knealt beside him n took his hand8

Antonio; You're in labour but Drix is on his way

Ricardo: [his mind cleared n the memory of him being with Nick came crashing dwn on him, n he pulled away frm Antonio] No...D-Don't touch me...I'm dirty...This baby... No...I dont want it...It's not urs... I don't... [started sobbing]

Antonio; Ricky no, this nino is mine

Ricardo: [shook his head, unable to believe it] No...It can't be...Nick, he... [sobbed hard] Dont touch me...

Drix: [rang the doorbell]

Drix: [quickly comes in] How is he doing right now?

Antonio; Not good, he thinks the baby belongs to that bastard

Drix: Well, we'll just hv to go thru with the birth n convince him otherwise [comes in] Hey, Ricky. Take it easy there

Ricardo: Pls...Pls take it out...Its not Toni's...I dont want it...

Drix: Now, now, dont be brash. Ur too far gone to do any surgery. U'll hv to go thru with the birth, then u'll find out for sure

Ricardo: [pants n pushed whenever he felt it]

Antonio; 8paced back n forth outside the room8

Drix: Ur doing reli good, Ricky, just keep it coming

Ricardo: [tried his best, bt aftr 30 mins of labour, he wasnt progressing vry well. His emotions got the better of him n he couldnt push as hard as he should, n somehow whimpered] T-Toni...

Antonio; 8placed his ear by the door8

Ricardo: [nodded before he could stop himself]

Drix: [called out] Toni?

Antonio; 8came in n took his mate's hand8

Ricardo: [whimpered, shook his head, burying his face in Antonio's chest]

Drix: U'll be alright, Ricky, u can do it

Ricardo: [pants hard, cringed at a contraction]

Drix: Come on, Ricky. Ur baby needs to come out, pls, u can do this

Antonio; Please mi amor

Ricardo: [whines n pants, waited for another contraction n pushed dwn as hard as he could]

Antonio; 8held his hand8

Drix: That's it, that's very good. It's crowning. Ur doing great

Ricardo: [moaned in pain as he kept pushing with the contractions]

Antonio; 8whispered soft words8

Ricardo: [whimpered as he felt himself stretch ard the baby's head]

Drix: [help to ease it out] There we go, just a couple more pushes, Ricky

Ricardo: [whimpered, shaking his head]

Antonio; You can do it

Drix: Easy does it. U can do it. Just a couple more pushes

Ricardo: [screamed out weakly as he pushed dwn that few times]

Drix: Gotcha! Its a boy!

Antonio; 8looked at the child8

[it was a boy, a hybrid tht had Antonio's colour bt Ricardo's eyes, a clear cut evidence of him being their child]

Drix: Chk it out, Ricky. Its urs n Toni's. Nothing to worry abt

Ricardo: [didnt want to look at it, fearing tht they were lying]

Antonio; Ricky looks at him

Ricardo: [shook his head]

Drix: Just take a peek. Pls

Ricardo: [turned to see, then gasped quietly] Oh... Oh, mi bambini...

Antonio; Told you, he's our's

Ricardo: [takes the baby frm Drix} B-Bt...Bt how? I...I was with Nick and...

Antonio; 8looked at Drix8

Drix: Well, according to my diagnostics in my kit, u were right with the calculations, Antonio. Judging by today's slightly ovrdue due date, plus and minus, I counted backwards, n it was definitely the time wen u had intercourse before Ricky was abducted tht hit the jackpot. So don't worry, Ricky. U were already pregnant before Nick had his way wtih u.

Ricardo: Oh thank Hector... [sobs as he cuddled the baby close, sobbing tears of relief]

Antonio; 8kissed his forehead8

Drix: [cleaned up Ricardo up] My work here is done. Congratulations u guys [leaves the room, sighing] Phew, wat a day [went bk to work]

Ricardo: [handed the baby to Antonio to be bathed]

Antonio; 8gently bathed their son8

[the kids peeked in the room]

Carlos: Mami...?

Milagro: Mami...?

Ricardo: Hey, my bambini-s. C'mere [reaches for them]

Antonio; 8smiled as he dressed the little one8

[the kids soon came in n hugged Ricardo, happy n relieved tht he was finally bk]

Antonio; 8sat next to them8

Ricardo: [takes the baby frm Antonio to nurse him] Meet ur new brother

Carlos: Aww~ He's so cute!

Milagro: Ur not gonna go to sleep for a long long time again, r u, Mami?

Ricardo: [smiled n shook his head] I dont think I will. Normal sleep frm now on

Antonio; 8sighed in relief8

Carlos: Wats his name?

Antonio; We haven't thought of one yet

Milagro: Any ideas?

Antonio; What about Asher? it means 'blessed'

Ricardo: Asher... [thought abt it] Yes, n Noche for a middle name, it means 'night'

Carlos: Its wonderful! Ash for short!
