TOYLB: Growing Pains - Season 5-7

[Two weeks has passed since Loki left, but Rouge was still not ready to go search for him. Ozzy has been briefed abt the situation by Klepta n was asked to keep a lookout for Loki just in case]

Ozzy: [had just finished answering Klepta's text, then sighed n leaned bk, pinching his brow]

Thrax; Ozzy?

Ozzy: [looked up at him] /Hey, babe. Just got done texting my big bro Klept, is all/

Thrax; And?

Ozzy: [shrugged n sighed] /Well, he's been asking me if there's any news abt Loki's whereabouts, since Rouge is too stubborn to go look for him, but I can't exactly give him any good news yet/

Thrax; More like betrayed baby

Ozzy: /Yeah, I guess so. But frm wat I hear frm Klepta n Rodeo, he didn't do it out of malice. It was for the best of intentions/

Thrax; 8snorts8

Ozzy: [frowned] /Don't be tht way. I'd rather give him the benefit of the doubt. He's a nice young man and.../ [his talk was interrupted by a doorbell ring] /Now who could tht be?/

Thrax; 8looked out the peephole8

[it was a teenage girl, a Salmonella-cell hybrid]

Thrax; 9opened the door8 Yes?

Hera: Umm, hi? Uhh, is this the private detective plc thing? My name is Hera... n I need ur help

Thrax; 8let her in8

Ozzy: [leans out] /Who is it, babe?/

Thrax; Client baby

Ozzy: /OK, I'll take notes, u do the questioning for me. Frank knws they can't read my sign language/

Thrax; Right 8jesters to the girl to have a seat8

Hera: [nodded n sat dwn]

Ozzy: [got his pen n paper ready]

Thrax; 8took a seat8 What can we help you with my dear?

Hera: I need u to help me find someone [digs out a photograph n hands it to Thrax] My big brother Loki

Ozzy: [tries to hold bk a gasp as he saw the picture, looking at Thrax worriedly]

Thrax; 8gave hima side glace look8 When did he go missing?

Hera: Two weeks ago

Ozzy: [telepathically] /Two weeks? That's how long he left Rouge. Ask her to elaborate/

Thrax; 8asked  her the questions needed8

Hera: [takes a deep breath before explaining] U see... My brother had a falling out with Mommy. She didn't like that he had a child with a married man, n didn't approve of her current fiancé, especially wen he did it behind her bk. So Mommy told him that either he leave the baby n his fiancé or not come home at all

Ozzy: [nodded n took his notes, evn tho he n Thrax knew the gist of it]

Hera: Loki is the only breadwinner in the family since Mommy had an accident at the textile factory she was working at, n she refuse to let us get part time jobs, so without Loki, we'd be broke n kicked out of the streets. The nxt day after the falling out, Loki came home, saying tht he did wat Mommy asked, n Mommy... Well, she hooked him up with our Uncle Mars' neighbour's kid. He's a doctor n he's rich, n Mommy thought he could start his life ovr with someone she approves

Thrax; And that was the last time ya heard from him?

Hera: [nodded] Uncle Mars n Mommy went to visit the neighbour to discuss wedding stuff a week ago n it turns out the house the "neighbour" n his "son" was living in didn't belong to him. The real owner of the house went for vacation n they used it as a base of operation. We went to the police n turns out they're cell traffickers, baiting poor ppl with promises of riches, then kidnaps n sells them to the black market

Ozzy: [telepathically] /Oh no, Loki.../

Thrax; 8sat back and looked at the young hybrid8 Bet your bitch of a mother is kicking herself now if not I'll do it for her

Ozzy: [secretly kicked Thrax in the shin] /Thrax~!/

Hera: [frowned] No need to rub it in, Mommy may not make the best judgements, but she does it with the best intentions for the family. N yes, if ur so keen on antagonizing my mother, she IS blaming herself, to the point where she's currently bedridden, sick n depressed due to guilt [stands up] If u don't wanna take this case, then say so. I'll leave [stands up n prepares to leave]

Ozzy: [gets up n stops her, scowling at Thrax]

Thrax; We will take the case but for Loki's, you, your siblings, Crystal and Rogue's sakes not for her's

Hera: [nodded] Thank u. I hope u can find Loki. I was referred to u by a friend I made at school whom u saved frm some purist cult. We made our police report to the nearest precinct at our area in the Kidney District. U can get ur info there

Ozzy: [nodded n escorted her out]

Thrax; 8grabbed his trenchcoat8

Ozzy: [grabbed his coat too n followed behind Thrax] /Time to go see Chief Devin. Maybe he can help us out with it n help us contact the precinct at the kidney area/

Thrax; 8pulled on his coat n followed his mate8

Ozzy: [got in the car n drove] /U knw, tht was uncalled for, the way u talked to her. We're supposed to be professionals/

Thrax; Not when it involves our family

Ozzy: /I knw, bt show some restraint. We need a clear head if we wanna find Loki/

Thrax; And possibly others that have been taken by this group

Ozzy: [nodded as they made their way to Devin's precinct]
