Ozzy: /Tht's good. U managed to get thru to her/ [turns to Loki's mom n was abt to thank her, bt gasped wen he realized tht her eyes were closed n she was no longer breathing] /Th...Thrax, did u...?/

Thrax; 8shook his head8 Looks like she killed herself, she's given up

Ozzy: /Suicide by willpower, huh...?/ [pulls the covers ovr her head] /First time I seen something like tht firsthand/

Thrax; 8sighed8

Ozzy: [stole a look at Rouge]

Rouge; 8looked a bit prideful8

Ozzy: [shook his head at Rouge, then turned to Thrax] U better break it to the family abt the mother, babe

Thrax; 8nods8

Ozzy: [texted Devin at his precinct abt the situation while letting Thrax break the news to the family]

Hera: [sees Thrax n Rouge come out] Did u get wat u need, detective?

Thrax; We did 8bit his lip8

Hera: [noticed his hesitation] Is something the matter?

Thrax; 8sighed8 Your mother has passed

Hera: [blinked in shock, couldn't believe her ears] I'm sorry... What?

Thrax; 8looked back to the room8

Hera: [followed his gaze n saw the blanket covering her face] No... No, no, no!!! Mommy!!! [runs in n threw herself onto her body n wailed]

[Her crying prompted the rest of the children n they all came in, realized she's dead n started crying along with her]

Ozzy: [looked sadly at them n left the room to give them space] /I've texted Chief Devin abt the situation/

Thrax; 8nods n sighs8

Ozzy: /We can wait for the Chief to come ovr to deal with the body n stuff, bt wat abt the kids? Without nxt of kin, they will be put into the system n might be separated, n I doubt their uncle would be eligible to take them in aftr his screw up with getting Loki kidnapped/

Rouge; They'll stay with us

Ozzy: /R u sure u can take them in?/

Rouge; We have enough room, plenty of money saved up, close to good schools n ya know the twins are great cooks

Ozzy: [remembered the time the whole clan had to hole up at their home during the smog incident] /Yeah, I guess ur right on tht. Tho I think its best if the kids hear it frm u, show u hv no hard feelings on them/

Rouge; Alright

[the police led by Devin soon came ovr to handle the situation, n as Ozzy n Thrax were conversing with Devin, all the Phillion children huddled together in the sitting room, looking sullen]

Rouge; 8approached them8

Hera: [looked up at him n frowned a little] Here to gloat? I knw ur happy our Mommy is dead. U obviously didnt see eye to eye with her tht day wen Loki brought u here

Rouge; I've had my fill but I wish to discuss a serious matter with all of you

Hera: [a short pause later] ...I'm listening

Rouge; I doubt your uncle will be granted custody of you after what happened to Loki but my home is your home

Freyja: U... U mean ur letting us stay with u guys? With The Biotics?

Hera: Will ur family be OK with us intruding on ur home?

Odin: U didnt... do anything to our Mommy, did u? [a little wary n afraid of him]

Hera: [turns to her other siblings for their verdict: Freyja looked like her eyes were sparkling with excitement at the thought of staying with celebrities, Odin was a little wary bt looked like he knew they didnt reli hv much choice in the end, n the twins Perseus n Persephone were pretty much oblivious since they were just barely 5 yr old tots, sucking their thumbs as they looked bk at Hera innocently, then she turns to Rouge] I guess tht's a yes frm all of us there

Hera: Pack up ur things, guys. We're going to our new home

Freyja: [practically flew across the room to get ready]

Odin: [nodded as he carried his twin siblings to pack up]

Rouge; Need any help/

Hera: Maybe help with the packing for my twin sibs?

Rouge; 8nods n follows the young twins8

[meanwhile, Oz n Thrax were finishing up with Chief Devin]

Devin: So who will be taking in the children? Do we need the social services involved?

Thrax; No my in-laws will be taking them

Devin: Shouldnt they go to nxt of kin?

Ozzy: [typed on his phone] Technically yes, they hv an uncle, bt would u trust him to take care of them aftr losing Loki?

Devin: I see ur point

Ozzy: [typed] Besides, Rouge is my brother, n he's engaged to Loki, so he's more or less nxt of kin

Devin: [nodded] Duly noted. Tho he might still get a visit frm social services to sign some paperwork regarding with taking them in

Ozzy: [typed] We might need to borrow one of ur vehicles. Our car can't fit in all of them AND their belongings

Devin: [nodded] I'll ask one of my men to drive the rest of the kids n escort u to ur brother's home

Thrax; Thank you

[soon evryone came out with their belongings]

Ozzy: /All set, bro?/

Rouge; 8was carrying two small suitcases8 Yeah

[the rest of the siblings came out with their suitcases, plus a couple of boxes]

Hera: We couldnt bring evrything yet, bt this is wat we can carry so far

Thrax; We'll get the others to collect the rest of ya stuff

Freyja: Thanks. OMG, we're actually going to move in with The Biotics! I gotta tell my friends~

Hera: Save the social media gossip for later, Frey. We shouldnt keep ppl waiting

[everyone left the plc n out the building, where a separate police car parked nxt to Oz's car awaits]

Dieter: [had already fallen asleep in the car, practically oblivious to wat was happening]

Thrax; 8rolled his eyes8

Ozzy: /Poor Di. This whole thing must wear him out a lot/ [reached in to gently shake him awake] /Sorry, Di, u need to make room. We've got company/

Dieter: [jolt awake a bit n saw the group] V-Vats going on? Vhy r zere so many ppl? N chiddlers no less?

Thrax; Di this is Loki's family, they'll be staying with the Biotics from now on

Dieter: [takes a look at them] Ah, hy see. Ve are going to send zem to Rouge's plc zen?

Ozzy: [nodded]

Dieter: [nodded n made room]

[Odin n the twins Persephone n Perseus entered, while Hera n Freyja went with the police escort car]

Perseus: [stared at Dieter for a moment before climbing onto his lap, settling dwn]

Odin: Percy, no. I'm so sorry, sir, I dunno why he did tht

Dieter: [was surprised at first before smiling gently] Eez OK, heez just being friendly. Just let him be, hy don't mind

Thrax; 8smiled softly then noticed Rouge going with the girls8

Ozzy: [noticed too] /Huh, seems like he's being protective abt them already/

Thrax; Can't really blame em

Ozzy: /At least he's accepting them into the family. Just realized tht The Biotics home is gonna get a whole lot bigger now/

Thrax; 8laughed slightly in amusement8

Ozzy: [waited for everyone to settle, then started the car n drove, with the police car following behind him]
