[meanwhile, Suki, the secretary for Nathan Pox's campaign arrived with her assistant to chk up on the menu]

Suki: [approaches Julius' desk] Hi, I'm Suki [gave him her card] I called the other day to sample the menu for the campaign party nxt week

Julius; Yes of course 8lead her to the back area where Leah had set up a table of food8

Suki: [her eyes lit up, impressed] Very nice. U did the menu description justice the last time we came to pick n choose ur menu

Leah; 8flushed8

Suki: Shall we? [turned to her assistant who was taking paper plates and forks for the both of them]

8the assistant picked up a plate8

Suki: [took a bowl] I'll sample the soup first [does so]

Leah; I wanted to do some traditional foods fr the dinner, that's nettle soup

Suki: [tasted the soup n nodded in approval] Mm, vry flavorful. I like it. Wat do u think, Cammie? [turns to the assistant]

Cam; 8tried it8 Mmm, definably hint a bit of garlic n fennel

Suki: [tasted the fish] I love how u cook these fish. I can't decide whether to hv the mango fish or the steamed fish, they taste divine

Cam; Try the Scottish stovies, very tender

Suki: [tries it] Mmm, ur right, vry tender, reli melts in ur mouth there

Cam; 8tried a bit of the Welsh Cawl8 Delicous

[Suki and Cam tried each n evry dish, all nodding in approval n give compliments]

Leah; 8smiled8

Suki: Alright, I guess everything is pretty good. Definitely campaign dinner party. Hope its OK with u if we doggy bag some of these food bk home? I can't get enough of these

Cam; Good thing I missed lunch 8licked lips8

Morty: Go right ahead, girls. Pick which one u want to bring home n we'll ready the doggy bags for ya

Cam; Thank you 8pointed some of the food including a mouth watering ginger whiskey cake8

Suki: [made her pick too, bt mostly she picked the fishes, which seemed to be her fav]

Leah; 8handed them the carrier bags8

Suki: [takes them] Thanks. We'll see u then on the official campaign party nxt week. I hope u'll be ready for us

Morty: Don't worry, we've marked them in the calendar. We're ready whenevr u are, decors and all

Julius; 8nods8

[Suki n Cam left with their food]

Morty: Looks like its an initial success

Leah; It is

Morty: Lets hope that it will be just as successful for the actual campaign party

Leah; 8nods8

Morty: Right, I'll be going to the market to buy extra stock just in case for the campaign party. Gonna need some extra petty cash

Leah; 8went to the office to get the money8

Ricardo: [was in the office nursing Ash wen she came in] Hey, Leah. Getting more petty cash?

Leah; There has to be an easier way fr payments 8took the cash8

Ricardo: Wat's it for this time?

Leah; Ingredients fr the campaign dinner

Ricardo: I thought we operate on credit line with our suppliers? Is he buying extra stuff?

Leah; Looks like it

Ricardo: Which reminds me it's time for the weekly deposit of our earnings to the bank. Want me to do it?

Leah; Ya zure/

Ricardo: Yeah I need to stretch my legs, n Ash needs the fresh air neways

Leah; Alvight but be careful

Ricardo: [nodded n got the money bag n put in the earnings for the week] We're going on a little trip, Ash~ [puts him in a baby carrier n left the office]

Leah; 8bit her lip, returning to the main floor8

Ricardo: [walked past the bar to see Antonio, to let him knw where he's going] Hey, love

Antonio; Hey mi amour

Ricardo: I'm heading off to the bank for the weekly deposit. I'm bringing Ash along. Say hi to Papa, Ash

Ash: [gives his daddy a toothless grin]

Antonio; 8chuckles, nuzzling the two7

Ricardo: Hopefully the line at the bank won't be too long. I'll cya soon, OK?

Antonio; Alright

Ricardo: [leans in to kiss him] Say bye-bye, Papa

Ash: [just cooed in delight]

Antonio; 8smiled8

Ricardo: [left the restaurant, making his way to the bank]

Ricardo: [took a number n waited, playing the baby rattle to entertain Ash]

8it didn't take long fr the line to clear8

Ricardo: [his number was called n he approached the counter, filling out the necessary paperwork before depositing. As he waited for the teller to process it, he noticed Thrax at the counter nxt to his] Hey, Thrax

Thrax; 8turned8 Oh hey Ricky

Ricardo: Putting in a deposit too?

Thrax; Just finished

Ricardo: Cool. I take it the PI business is doing well?

Thrax; Basically

Ricardo: Tht's good. How's the family doing?

Thrax; Sakura's still on edge

Ricardo: Oh, her heat hasn't disappated yet?

Thrax; It's not a heat cycle Rick

Ricardo: [got the papers processed, thanked the teller n walked out with Thrax] Then wat is it?

Thrax; Heat cycles r what the Rabies going through, our's is different

Ricardo: I don't knw much abt Red Death still, I'm afraid. Care to explain?

Thrax; Red Death r a very rare breed, one born every few generations.  When the changes start to occur fr us that symbolizes that once we are ready we find a life-mate, someone we have as our one n only but unfortunately fr a time we can rather assertive n it's worse in the younger ones than the full mature viruses

Ricardo: I see. I remember Oz told me abt their growth spurt n all. So I take it Sakura's biology seems to hv taken root? Tht she has a life-mate in mind?

Thrax; Possibly but would he feel the same/

Ricardo: Well has she been seeing anyone before this thing happened?

Thrax; Terrance Avalon but it on the rocks at the moment with Sakura's 'condition'

Ricardo: Lemme guess, no one told him abt the condition n he thought he was being dissed, isnt he?

Thrax; 8nods8 It's gonna take some time fr Sakura n Rory to fully control themselves

Ricardo: Bt it hasnt happened to Rory yet, right? So at least he'll learn wen the time comes. Wait, if Sakura is getting it, shouldnt u watch out for Kiaran n Ozzex? Or evn Olivia n Othello? Since they're the eldest?

Thrax; Sakura is more virus than cell n Rory as ya know is pure virus, not sure how it'll affect the others though

Ricardo: I guess u'll hv to keep a lookout then, since each child's maturity might differ

Thrax; 8nods then smiles as Ash8

Ash: [looks up at Thrax n gave his toothless grin]

Ricardo: [chuckles] Ash is vry friendly to evryone. He smiles so easily

Thrax; He'll need to be careful once he's older 8stroked the child's hair8

Ricardo: Yeah, I knw, stranger danger n all tht, bt for now, i'd just like to enjoy him as he is [stroke Ash's cheeks]

Ash: [instinctively root for something to suckle n started nomming Thrax's pinkie]

Thrax; Looks like his fangs will be in soon

Ricardo: Yeah, almost time to get started on pumping my milk instead to bottlefeed him. Last time the twins' fangs set in, I made the mistake of letting them continue with nursing, n they almost impaled my nips

Thrax; 8winces8

Ricardo: Alright, I better get bk to the restaurant. Cya wen I cya then, bro

Thrax; Later

Ricardo: [made his way bk to the restaurant]

Antonio; 8was serving drinks8

Ricardo: [came in, waving hi at him]

Antonio; 8smiled, waving a bit8

Ricardo: [waited for Antonio to finish serving before approaching] Forgot to ask u, how did it go with the food sampling?

Antonio; Fantastica, took some of the food fr later use

Ricardo: Nice, hopefully the actual campaign party itself is a success, tho I heard the opposing party is employing Takashi n Orion's tailoring services

Antonio; They may go against each but we don't

Ricardo: True tht, its a business aftr all, we're just doing our jobs

Ricardo: I wonder wat sort of function does the opposing party hv in mind
