[towards the late aftrnoon, Ozzy has received the text frm Devin regarding the raid to the cult]

Thrax; 8looked at it8

Ozzy: [showed him his phone to let him read the msg]

Text: All systems go. Meet up at our precinct in 20

Thrax; 8stood up n grabbed his coat8

Ozzy: [grabbed his coat too n went to their car]

8they soon took off to the precinct8

[at the precinct, a suitable amt of ppl for a civilian raid was waiting in a raid van, with Devin heading the team, waiting for Oz n Thrax]

Thrax; 8came up to them8

Ozzy: [waved at them, giving the "Are we late" look]

Devin: [was used to Oz's facial expressions by now] Nope, just in time. Come ride with us in the raid van n we can get going

8they both got in8

[the van soon drove off to the location, which is at The Left Elbow]

Devin: [while in the van, debriefed the group] We are going to approach a cult n take them dwn under the suspicion of child endangerment n child abuse. Last week we sent someone inside as undercover to relay information n this is the location we got: The Left Elbow where they hv an office building in the guise of a public library, bt its actually a congregation center for this cult.  Here is Reyes, our undercover guy [showed them the pic of a white-blood cell tht has a bushy beard] Extract him out n rally the rest under cuffs. Is tht clear, team?

8they nod8

Driver: Approaching the building at T-minus 1 min, sir

Devin: Already, team, gear up

8they all got their gear on8

[inside the building, the cult was already starting to congregate n starting some kind of purification ceremony, n in the middle of the stage was a girl who was crying n begging for her life]

Thrax; 8was a virus n had see it all but these types of situations always made him sick8

Cult leader: We hv before u another one who had strayed frm our family. She had consummate with a species not of her own n thus must be ousted frm our group. Her family has decided not to exile her, thus they hv chosen to cleansed her!

Girl: Pls, pls, dont! Pls! I love him! Its my baby!! Mine n his!! Pls!! Ronan!! [screamed at the virus who lay dead at the cult leader's feet, no doubt her lover n killed by the cult]

Thrax; 8felt his blood boil8

Cult leader: Strap her dwn on the cleansing table. We shall begin cleansing! [tossed her to his assistants n a cell tht looked like an abortion doctor showed up n approached the table, waiting for them]

Devin: Team, go!

8the team charged in with Thrax transforming8

Ozzy: [brandished the blades n made to the front, knocking the cult leader's assistants out n held the girl close, baring out his blades sticking out of his bk to keep the others frm coming near]

Cult leader: Wh-What? Wat the... Wats the meaning of this?

Devin: Ur all under arrest for child endangerment and abuse, as well as murder n accessory to murder! Hands up, all of u!

8many of them tried to fight back8

[the team aimed their guns n fired warning shots, n those trying to escape got shot on their limbs to stop them]

8the cult was soon all shackled as Thrax placed a sheet over the poor he-virus and wrapped his coat round the frightened she-cell8

Girl: [refused the coat in favour of throwing herself onto her dead virus boyfriend n sobbed hard]

Ozzy: [rubbed her bk, trying to soothe her the best he could]

Thrax; 8referted back to normal  n sighed8

Devin: [comes to the girl] I'm so sorry for ur loss, sweetie

Girl: He...He was the only one who understood me... The only one who would love me unconditionally... N told me tht the world I'm living is a lie... I didnt evn knw there were viruses in this city until he showed up... I...

Devin: I understand, sweetheart. I knw its hard, bt would u come with me to the station to make a statement? Tell us evrything abt wat happened here?

Girl: [sniffled for a bit, takes a deep breath n nodded, getting up n holding Devin's hand]

Thrax; Be strong my dear, your child needs ya

Girl: [nodded] Th-Thank u [went with Devin]

Ozzy: [sighed] /Wish we could've gotten here sooner, this kid didnt hv to die/ [looked sadly as the coroner came to pick the virus' body up]

Thrax; We're not out of the woods yet baby, there's still others out there

Ozzy: /Maybe, bt for now, I think we got the main branch. The rest we'll root them out in time/

Thrax; 8looked unsure, even if there was only one left it still make him uneasy8

Ozzy: /Let's go home. We did good for now. We can hand in the reports tomorrow/

Thrax; 8led him out8
