*the nxt morning, Morty brought Julius to see the midwife as appointed*

Julius; 8seemed slightly nervous8

Morty: *put his arms ard him to calm him dwn, n told Excalibur to stay put outside, since hospital doesnt allow pets*

*the nurse, aftr a few patients, finally called in Julius' name*

Morty: C'mon, lovebug. Let's go *took his hand gently*

Julius; 8nods8

Morty: *led him into the room*

Midwife: Pls, hv a seat

Julius; 8sat down8

Midwife: Wht seems to be the problem?

Morty: Our pet sniffed out tht my mate is pregnant, bt we just want to make sure

Midwife: Ah yes, the 2nd opinion, eh? Alright, sir, if u pls lie dwn on the examination bed *gesture Julius to it*

Julius; 8lay on the bed8

Midwife: *rummage thru the shelves n took out a thermometer-like tube*

Morty: Wht is tht?

Midwife: A new pregnancy test gadget. Vry accurate. Pls take off ur pants, sir

Julius; 8swalloed but did so8

Morty: *put his hand reassuringly on Julius*

Midwife: *saw Julius' condition* Oh, a hermaphrodite? Havent seen one in years. Alright, pls spread ur legs n relax. This wont hurt a bit

Julius; 8nods, spreading his legs8

Midwife: *stuck the tube gently into the vagina n waited for a few minutes, then a high-note whistling sound came out frm the tube*

Morty: Wht is tht? *raised a brow*

Midwife: Tht is ur confirmation *smiled at them* Congratulations, sir. Ur pregnant

Julius; 8sat up8

Morty: *smiled happily* See? Nothing to worry abt, lovebug

Julius; 8kissed him passionately8

Morty: *kissed him bk*

Midwife: *smiled quietly; she always liked to see scenes like this aftr hearing the good news*

Julius; 8dressed himself again before standing up8

Morty: How exactly does this thing work? *gestures at the tube*

Midwife: Well, u usually stick it directly inside u. See this little ball in here? *points at it* Well, if ur positive the ball will move upwards n make tht sound u just heard. If u were negative, it would move dwnwards n make a deep low sound, like things would make wen they run out of batteries

Julius; 8tilted his head in amazement8

Morty: Tht sounds incredible

Midwife: Frm the best labs of the Brain Centre of course. Well, judging by ur condition, I'd say ur abt 1 n a half mths pregnant. May I knw wht breed of virus r u both?

Morty: I'm HIV

Julius; E-bola

Midwife: *jotted it dwn, then made some calculations in her head* Well, I suppose if the HIV genes r more dominant, most likely it'll follow his breed's period of gestation, which is abt roughly 7 mths

Julius; 8nods8

Midwife: Since u r viruses n pregnancy is vry hard to come by for u, u will hv to be a little bit careful. Make sure u come twice a mth throughout ur pregnancy for chk-up, hv a healthy diet n dont stress urself out too much

Julius; Alright

Midwife: Congratulations again *shook both their hands*

Julius; 8lay against Morty8

Morty: U tired? Wanna ride on Excalibur?

Julius; No I'm fine 8rests his hand gently on his stomach8

Morty: Alright. Let's go home then *took Julius' hand n led him out of the hospital to where Excalibur is waiting*

Julius; 8stroked the dog's ears8

Morty: * helped Julius on the dog before mounting him* C'mon, Excalibur, take us home
