[the hall the virus was walking thru led him to a sub-basement underneath the basement they were in]

[there was a faint sound of wat sounded like a heart monitor machine]

[the sound led him to some kind of open room, with a plastic drape acting like a curtain to separate the room n the rest of the entrance]

[behind the drapes revealed something of a makeshift hospital wards, with rows n rows of beds occupied by unconscious ppl; cell, virus, germ, bacteria alike, all hooked to their own life support machine n IV drips tht probably keeps them unconscious, n further dwn the room looked like there were a bunch of cold storage fridges n thermoses, n a few trolleys filled with surgical tools]

[at the far end of the row of beds lay Loki, unconscious with the IV drips n heartbeat monitor machine hooked onto him]

Loki: [was definitely unconscious, n has a tag on his wrist labeled: MULTIPLE ORGANS VIABLE. SURGERY COMPATIBLE]

[soon loud footsteps could be heard n a huge crowd of immunity surrounded them]
Immunity: FREEZE! IMMUNITY! Ur completely surrounded! Put ur hands up!!
Thrax; Hope ya brought a medical team to
[the thugs put up a fight, bt ultimately aftr gunning dwn some, everyone was subdued]
Devin: Well, well, looks like we've finally got u guys, Gangland Family
Peter: Hah, u'll nvr hold us. We'll get out. We've got connections
Devin: We'll see abt tht [turns to Oz n Thrax] Hey, u guys OK there?

Ozzy: [turns to Thrax] /I'll go with the medic team to the kids. Sal might freak out if he sees a bunch of strangers try to manhandle him/

Ozzy: [nodded n followed the medic team to where he hid the kids]

Medic team: [came to unhook all the patients on the beds, starting with Loki]

[minutes later, Loki slowly stirred]

[the duo made it bk to their car, then following the map Oz printed out from Hero's search, made their way to the South side]
Thrax; 8scanned the area8
Ozzy: /See any warehouse looking buildings, babe?/ [did a slow drive by]
Thrax; Nothing yet baby
Ozzy: /Lemme knw if ya spot something/ [kept the slow drive by, looking at his end]
Thrax; Over there 8pointed at a large boarded up building8
Ozzy: [looked out] /Tht seems like the plc. I'll park this car somewhere further dwn the block, then we'll sneak our way in/
Thrax; 8nods8
Ozzy: [drove the car dwn three blocks for good measure, parking the car in a secluded alley]
Thrax; 8got out, tightening his coat8
Ozzy: [followed suite, chking out the area, making sure they weren't spotted]
Thrax; 8rubbed his chin8
[the duo slowly made their way to the building, keeping a cautious eye along the way]
Ozzy: [looked abt n saw a window high up tht doesn't seemed latched or locked] /Gimme a boost, babe/
Thrax; 8hoisted him up8
Ozzy: [did a small jump from Thrax's hands n grabbed the window sill, then quickly but quietly climbs up n thru the window, glad for the immunity training tht he still got in him]
Thrax; 8scaled the wall, following him8
Ozzy: [hugged the walls, keeping it dwn as he made his way dwn the halls n corridors, testing doors along the way, which r either empty or locked]
Thrax; 8looked round8
[there was some hushed conversation going on]
Ozzy: [held a finger to his lips n quietly followed the sounds]
Thrax; 8kept to the shadows8
[the duo soon found themselves above a group of ppl, led by the familiar faces of the Gangland Family]
Ozzy: [telepathically to Thrax] /That looks like our "Burkes"/ [jerking his head at the two men]
Thrax; 8silently growled8
Ozzy: [strained his neck a bit to see that "Vihto" was there too] (telepathically) N there's our so called "Ms Vihto" there [gesturing at her counting a few stacks of carb bills]
Thrax; 8cracked his knuckles8
Ozzy: [telepathically] /Better leave them first. We hv to find Loki n Sal before we deal with them/
Thrax; 8nods8
[the duo continued to hug the walls as they searched the area, careful to avoid passerbys n any booby traps laid out, until they found themselves at the building's basement, dwn the hallway a few rusty bulky doors could be seen]
Ozzy: /This looks like it. U chk the right side of the hallway, I'll take the left/
Thrax; Got it
Ozzy: [made his way to the left side of the hallway, testing the doors]
Thrax; 8tried the ones on the right8
[all the rooms were filled with random contraband junk except one, which seemed to be locked, n there were scuffling noises inside]
Thrax; 8slashed the locks8
[scurrying of tiny feet was heard as small figures made their way to the back of the dimly lit room, all except one sitting on the lower bunk bed staring at the door at Thrax]
Ozzy: /U found something, babe?/
Thrax; 8motioned with his head8
Ozzy: [enters to see it was Salvador sitting at the bunk bed] /Sal!/ [comes to him n chk him for injuries, which there were only a few cuts n bruises, looking slightly malnourished but otherwise fine] /Thank goodness ur fine, sweetie/
Salvador: [doesn't hv the link like Thrax does with him, bt he seemed to understand from his facial expressions n gestures tht he was worried abt him n reached over to hug him]
Thrax; 8scooped him up, holding him close8
Ozzy: /There, there.../ [stroke his head] /We'll get u bk to ur parents in no time/ [knows he can't hear his link, but he felt like comforting him just the same, then turns to look ard the room] /Holy mother of Frank, babe. There's more of them... [staring in horror as his eyes adjusted to the dim lighting to see a couple dozens of kids huddled away in the corner, visibly afraid of them]
Thrax; 8a low growl escaped his throat8
Ozzy: /Fuck, how many families hv they swindled... Or PLAN to swindle?/
Thrax; /And how many have they destroyed/
Ozzy: /Well, we can't bring them all together with us, n we still need to find Loki. It's time to call for backup/ [took photos of the kids with his phone n texted Devin, telling him their location n to send backup] /Hand me Sal. I'll stay here with the kids n find a way to escort them out. U go find Loki, babe/
Thrax; 8nods, gently passing him Sal8
Ozzy: [takes Sal in his arms, giving him comforting strokes on his bk] /It's gonna be OK. I'm gonna get u outta here with ur new friends/
Sal: [just lays his head on Oz's shoulder, trusting him with his safety]

Ozzy: [nodded n started looking ard to see if there was a way out]
